Run Live Channels and Events on a Platform Built for Broadcast
Zeus V is our livestreaming and transcoding platform. It runs 24x7 scheduled channels and one-off live events, packages them for adaptive HLS playback, records the shows, and restreams to the networks your audience already uses.
Live Video Without Stitching Tools Together
Running a channel usually means a pile of separate tools: an encoder, a scheduler, an ad server, a recorder and a script for every social destination. Something always drifts out of sync, and the failure shows up on air.
Zeus V puts ingest, scheduling, playout, ad breaks, recording and restreaming in one platform with one set of roles and one audit trail. The control plane and the media plane are kept separate, so the people scheduling programs are never in the path of the video.

How Zeus V Runs a Channel
Publish or schedule
Encoders publish to a channel with its own key, or programmers add events to the calendar in the portal, through the management API or through an MCP connector.
Play out and monetize
A playout agent applies the schedule, slate, commercial breaks and transitions, and produces one normalized program feed for the channel.
Deliver, record and restream
The program feed is packaged as HLS, recorded, and sent to any restream destinations you have attached, while the guide is published as an XMLTV feed.

FAQs About Zeus V
Didn’t find your question? A real person reads every inquiry.
What is the difference between a scheduled channel and an event channel?
A scheduled channel runs continuously, following a rolling schedule and showing a slate when nothing is scheduled. An event channel stays off air until an authorized publisher connects, and can add live pre-roll and post-roll around the event. The mode is chosen when the channel is created.
Which encoders can publish to Zeus V?
Any encoder that speaks RTMP or RTMPS, including OBS and FFmpeg. Each channel has its own publish key, and rotating it does not change the channel.
Can it restream to Facebook and YouTube?
Yes. Facebook Live, YouTube Live, X Live, Rumble and custom RTMP are supported. Facebook and YouTube connect with OAuth and Zeus V creates the provider-side broadcast; final go-live stays under the provider’s own controls.
How do ad breaks work?
Zeus V requests ad pods from your external ad server for pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll positions, with fallback behavior so a missing ad response does not create dead air.
Can we automate scheduling?
Yes. Schedules can be managed in the portal, through the management API, or by an AI assistant connected to Zeus V’s MCP server, using the same permissions as a signed-in user.
